With production in the basement and tasting room on the first floor, the Butternut Farm Cider House was designed to make and sell small batch craft hard cider directly to you.

The Cider basement is busy though. It is "Go Time" for our two fermenters which are getting the 2019 vintage ready for the next serving season to begin in April of 2020.

Our hard ciders are hand-crafted on site in 300 gallon batches. At minimum, it takes 10 weeks from pressing the apples until a batch is finished and ready to serve, but it can take longer. Up to 6 months of aging can be required for our "Barrel Aged" ciders.

We are open six days a week during harvest from mid June through early November. Pre-harvest our cider house is open all spring on Fridays and Saturdays with donuts, pies, ice cream, and our very own hard cider.
