Our farm sits on a beautiful piece of land; just under 9 acres. The month of April finds Marshall pruning all of our 700 or so grapevines. Come June it's time to do the regular upkeep of the vines which includes putting up more wire, repairing the wire and fence posts, and making sure the irrigation system works.
By the time July comes around its time to do pest control. By late August we're checking the sugar content to see if how close it is harvest time. Towards the end of September is usually when we harvest the grapes. That's a very busy day! Come November we have to slow down a bitsince it's getting colder outside but we're busy inside keeping an eye on the wine.
